Artist's Comments

This one took me days.. weeks.. months… years… I even did nightmares about it ¬¬ But finally, it’s finally finished. I love it. My art teacher told me I was a lil crazy to do waves with crayons, because it’s not really easy… And, I tell you, she's right :XD: Oh well, if you step back a little, it’s better. Yet once again, the scanner did a crappy job, but oh well, guess perfection doesn't exist, yet...

“The colours of dawn have been tossed upon night.
The line traced by the sea is right in sight.
I waited for this moment, for you, since so long
That even the wind knows the plea of my song

So many times my eyes did search for your face
Perhaps we are bounded like two laces
Destined to cross but then to separate
But I know tying up is our fate.

Through the veil of ghostly fog I can see
A faint boat toy swinging on the sea.
My treasure that I have entrusted to nature,
That I faithfully wish to get back for sure…” – Laverna

“The thundering waves are calling me home, home to you
The pounding sea is calling me home, home to you…” – Loreena McKennitt

I would never try to draw water with coloured pencils but you did such a great job on it, I like that effect of foam(don't know the exact word:-)). only sky lacks some colour but that colud be scanner, I know it destroyed a lot of my skys...
:iconinthewolfeye:
Yeah, you guessed right, the scanner completely screwed up my beautiful sunset ¬¬ Darn, I hope one day we'll have super advanced scanners that stops ruining art :XD: I'm glad you like it though! =) Yeah, water with colour pencils is a pain, took me a lot and lot of time and patience to end up with this result! I'm proud! :aww:

The water is nothing short of awesome, and I'm really impressed you managed to do all that with crayons. As for the girl, the upheld arm looks a tad bit long to me, but otherwise she also looks great. :D

I am a happy ball of sunshine and rainbows. No, really.

~opvillainhet - Villains can love, too!
:iconinthewolfeye:
Yeah... i had no reference for the person, i guess the arm is a little too long ^^; Thanks a lot, I'm glad you like it! :D
